Waves: At 7am the waves are small, weak and semi-glassy in the knee to thigh high range - conditions unlikely to improve this morning with an outgoing tide; for this afternoon on the incoming tide it will likely be choppy with the SW wind fetch in the knee to thigh high range.
Buoy Information: Edisto Buoy reports 4.0 foot waves at 5.0 second intervals.
Wind: The wind is from the SW at 8 mph and increasing later in the afternoon from that direction to 15 MPH.
Ambient air temperature today (F): 80'F at 7 am with a forecast high around 96'F.
Tides: Tides for Thursday are H 4:06 am L 10:20 AM H 5:01 pm L 11:14 pm.
Water temp: 84'F.
Barometer: 29.9 and falling at 7 am.
Other information: High pressure dominates through Friday night when a weak cold front arrives; influence of the stalled front should bring offshore wind for Saturday and Sunday to clean up the small surf; the tropics are quiet today; check out www.surfingnosara.com for pictures of a nice swell at Guionnes yesterday.
